At the Route 66 Big Birthday Bash event in Newberry Springs, California, on May 2nd, 2026, I was fortunate to run into the beautiful Jessica Anderson (Route 66 Ambassador East), where she asked if I would take some photos of her modeling with various vehicles and decorations at the show after she was named the winner of the "1950's Classy Pinup" contest.

Overall, I took a total of 95 photos of Jessica (17 of which are presented in a gallery on this site). While this was an impromptu shoot, I still look back wishing that I had carried some different lenses and a flash for fill with me as all of the photos were shot with a zoom. Nevertheless, we both had a good time with the shoot and plan on meeting up at the Main Street USA Festival & Car Show in Barstow, California on October 9th and 10th, 2026
